What does a High Brix value mean?

The Brix value is used for the standardized determination of the refractive index of a liquid. This allows, for example, measuring how much dissolved sugar is in a glass of water – or in a paste. The value is given in degrees. One degree Brix means that 100 grams of a liquid contain 1 gram of sugar. The higher the Brix value, the sweeter the solution. Our High Brix pastes contain a maximum amount of natural sugar, placing them at a particularly high level in terms of taste. At the same time, they contain a lot of fiber and are very nutritious. Using fruit pastes with a High Brix value ultimately saves water and minimizes costs without compromising the quality of taste.
